What Does It Do?
ArchiveXtender virtualizes secondary optical storage devices to
provide transparency between the operating system and the
physical storage solution. ArchiveXtender is a complete read/write
archival solution that aggregates optical devices into a
virtual storage pool - which can be viewed as a single drive
letter, allowing Windows, UNIX and Macintosh clients to archive
and retrieve data from the same network location.
